The story of FZKL is one of adversity, perseverance, recovery, and ambition. Founded in 2020, FZKL was born out of a desire to provide natural, effective solutions for health, wellness, recovery, and performance.

As a life long surfer and fitness enthusiast, Jay felt like the pharmaceutical industry was where he could go to help people achieve their physical goals. That's really where the story begins, because he realized how wrong he was and how dark the industry was behind the scenes.

Simultaneously when he began having his doubts about the pharmaceutical industry, Jay suffered a terrible snowboarding accident and a horrible back injury. He was told by the best doctors in New York City that he would never workout, never surf or snowboard or do any of the activities he loved ever again.

It was at this moment he decided to walk away from the industry he chose of traditional medicine and pharmaceuticals for answers, to take his health into his own hands, and to do everything he could to empower himself and people who wanted to be truly healthy and whom traditional medicine had failed, just like it was failing him.

He preserved, he recovered, and he discovered the formulas. He cracked the code and Jay defied the doctors and became active again, without pharmaceuticals and without modern medicine.

He was prepared to share his discoveries with the world. This took shape in three forms, products, knowledge, and a non-profit designed to inspire people to become their best in fitness, sport and life.

He put thousands of hours into writing three books over two years on nutrition, training, and mindset.

Then, one day, a freak incident instantly destroyed his hard drive, his backups, and his years of hard work. Even though his knowledge lived on inside his head, all of a sudden everything he had put to paper was all gone. Adversity had struck again.

Devastated, he took some time to reflect by sailing to Panama and coaching athletes there for 6 months. Ultimately while on this journey he decided his mission had not changed and he still had to share his knowledge with the world.

Once again, hundreds of hours of research and hundreds of instances of trial and error went into productizing the elements, compounds, and information that helped him recover and defy the doctors who said it would be impossible.

The next step was to share it all with you which culminated in the products you see here today, FZKL was finally born.
